Thalakottukara

A small settlement, Thalakottukara (also spelt Thalakkottukara) is in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur District of Kerala. It lies between Thrissur-Guruvayoor, about 10 km from Guruvayoor. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the place is ideal for tourists.

Thalakkottukara Shiva Temple, a subsidiary shrine of the Guruvayoor Devaswom Committee, is situated here. Guruvayoor Temple, Vatanappally Beach, Matha Mariam Cathedral, Thrissur Archaeological Museum and Narayanashrama Tapovanam are the nearest attractions.
