Kundala Dam is an artificial reservoir located at
Kundala, a charming town in
Idukki District of
Kerala. It is comparatively a small dam having arch shape. A narrow road on the top of the dam gives a panoramic view of the catchment area. The reservoir has boating facilities.
Kundala Lake and Aruvikkad Waterfall are the nearby picnic spots.
The dam is about 20 km from Munnar. Kottayam Railway Station, about 114 km, is the nearest railhead.
