Kudallur is a small village situated in
Palakkad District of
Kerala. It lies on the northern bank of
Gayathri River, a tributary of
Bharathapuzha.
The village is dotted with coconut, jackfruit and mango orchards. The green carpet of paddy fields provides a magnificent scenario.
Major point of attraction is a small temple, dedicated to Karthiyayani Amman, with a sevellipura in the front and a temple tank. Karthigai Vilaku is a festival celebrated here in the month of November.
Regular buses connect Kudallur with Nemmara, which is on the southern side of the Gayathri River. Nemmara is about 10 km south of Alathur.
