Pazhassiraja Museum is located in
Kozhikode District. The museum displays the copies of ancient murals, antique bronzes, old coins, excavated earthenware, models of temples, and megalithic monuments. There is an art gallery adjacent to the museum that exhibits an excellent collection of paintings by
Raja Ravi Varma and Raja Raja Varma. The museum and the art gallery are named after
Pazhassiraja Kerala Varma (Lion of Kerala) the great freedom fighter.
