Palakkad Town Railway Station (Palakkad was earlier spelt Palghat) is one of the main railway stations in
Palakkad District. As it is located within the town limits, the National Highway (NH 47) passing through the town center, is not very far. The railway station is only a short distance from the KSRTC Bus Station. Nearest airports:
