Kakkanad

Kakkanad is a fast growing settlement in the eastern outskirts of Kochi, Kerala. It is an emerging IT hub and knowledge center in the city. Kakkanad is situated around 12 km from Ernakulam Town Railway Station.

Infopark, KINFRA Export Promotion Industrial Parks and Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology are based at Kakkanad.

The water theme park, Veegaland, is a major draw.

Cochin International Airport is situated about 25 km to the north.
