Kalarivathukkal Shri Bhagavati Temple is one of the most famous
Bhadrakali temples in the northern part of
Kerala. The temple lies at
Chirakkal, 6 km from
Kannur. The main ceremonies held here are Kalamezhuthupattu and the
theyyam festival known as Kaliyattam.
Chirakkal Palace is a main attraction nearby. By road, there are frequent buses running from Kannur through this route.
