IES College of Engineering was established at Chittilappily,
Thrissur District, by Ideal Educational Society, one of the leading promoters of academic institutions of excellence in
Kerala, and a division of MES Qatar.
This self-financing engineering college, affiliated to the
University of Calicut and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers undergraduate courses in civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and applied electronics and instrumentation engineering.
The college has well-equipped laboratories, workshops, a library, and a computer center with internet connectivity. Separate hostel facilities for girls and boys are available. The IES Public School is in the same premises.
