Ettamkallu, also known as Eighth Stone Junction, is situated between
Nedumangad and
Thiruvananthapuram. It is near
Karakulam.
Keltron has an office at this place. In the vicinity also lies a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, Ayanikkadu Mudippura Temple. Nearby attractions include the dam and temple at Aruvikkara (4 km) and Vellanad Devi Temple (10 km).
The junction has three roads leading different directions. East road is for Nedumangad and south road for Irumba-Aruvikkara and west for Thiruvananthapuram. There are regular bus services from bus stations at Nedumangad (5 km), Peroorkada (5 km) and Thiruvananthapuram (14 km).
