Saraswati Temple is an old shrine located at North Paravur in Ernakulam District of Kerala. The temple is set in the midst of a lotus pond and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the Hindu deity of knowledge. It is believed that Paravur Thampuran, a local ruler and a devotee of Goddess Saraswati had a dream in which the Goddess herself instructed him to construct this temple. Navratri is the main festival in this temple.
Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery is the nearest airport. Buses are available from Vypeen Island and Kodungallur to Paravur.
