Archaeological Museum is located at
Tripunithura, 12 km south-east of
Kochi. Exquisite of the items on display are stone inscriptions, plaster models, old vehicles, folklore, oil paintings, carriages and epigraphy. The museum also showcases palm-leaf manuscripts, sculptures, paintings, wood carvings, numismatics, metal wares, armory and plaster models.
The museum can be visited on a small entrance fee. It is open from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs except on except on Mondays and National holidays. School programs and film shows are conducted occasionally.
