Peermade is a small hill station on the way to
Thekkady. It is a fertile land at an altitude of 914 m. The place got its name from Peer Mohammad, a Muslim saint. This cool hill station is rich in rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantation, interspersed with waterfalls and open grasslands. This pleasant hill station was once the summer resort of the
