Located at
Trikkannad, Trikkannad Shiva Temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva and is popularly known as Dakshina Kasi. Located on the shores of
Arabian Sea, the temple faces to the west, which is rarity in
Kerala.
Every year a seven-day festival is organized here during the months of March and April. The Ashtami Villakku and Pallivetta are the main highlights of this festival. It attracts thousands of devotees from far and wide.
