Located at Puliyarmala, 6 km from
Kalpetta, is the beautiful Ananthanatha Swami Temple dedicated to Ananthanatha Swami, one of the prominent saints of Jain faith.
The entrance doors of the temple are beautifully carved, which holds three panels. The outer entrance has a carved granite pillar in front of the gate. The stupa, constructed in the traditional Dravidian style of architecture, has colorfully painted ornate carvings going up in a pyramid shape and at the top, there is a carving of Mahavir.
The main shrine of the temple has small steps covered with almost 20 different Jain idols and symbols made of different mediums including stone, ceramic, brass and gold. The brass idol standing straight with no hair and arms is the largest idol. There is a large swastika painted in the wall directly behind him.
