Anamudi Peak in the
Western Ghats, the highest in South India, is in
Idukki District, 50 km from
Munnar. It is over 2600 m high. This is an ideal spot for trekking and camping, and the
Eravikulam National Park, at a trekking distance north of Anamudi, is a nearby attraction. The Peak is also haven to wildlife travelers and nature lovers.
Anamudi is about 130 km from Kochi.
