Nooranad

Nooranad (also Noornad) is a charming village resting in Alappuzha District of Kerala. It lies on the banks of Achankovil River, about 30 km north-west of Adoor. Charummudu is 15 km west. The State Highway 5 passes nearby.

Mannady, Parthasarathy Temple, Krishnapuram Palace and Chettikulangara Sree Bhagavathi Temple are some tourist places and pilgrim centers in the neighborhood.

Chengannur Railway Station serves Nooranad. Nearest airport is Cochin International Airport.
