Yellodu is a religious and picnic spot in the northern part of Kolar District in Karnataka. It is about 12 km from Bagepalli, a taluk headquarters. The place is also called Kurmagiri, as it resembles the shape of a tortoise.
Sri Lakshmi Adinarayanaswamy Temple atop a hill is the main attraction. A simple arch at the entrance leads to the top. A children's park is seen on the left side of the entrance. A temple of Anjaneya and some idols of snakeare seen on the way. Yellodu is also an ideal location for bird watchers.
