Tumkur Bus Station

Tumkur Bus Station is situated in the heart of the city, 70 km to the east of Bangalore. Regular buses are available to Bangalore, Hassan, Chikmagalur and Kolar.

Nearest airport is at Bangalore. Tumkur Railway Station, a few minutes walk from the bus station, is on Shimoga-Bangalore rail route of the South Western Railways.

Places of tourist interest include Yediyur, Kunigal Farm, Pavagada Fort, Siddhaganga Kshetra, Turuvekere and Tumkur Jain Temple.
