Rattihalli is a small sleepy village located near the
Kumudvati River in Hirekerur taluk of
Haveri District. Groves of trees, hillocks and rivers make this place attractive. Rattihalli, adjacent to the
Western Ghats, has a population of more than a thirteen thousand people. This serene village is popular from the epoch of Banvasi Kadambas and Rashtrakoota emperors. The village earned the name Rashtrapalli, in memory of the great rulers of Rashtrakoota, which in due course, changed into Rattihalli.
The nearby tourist attractions are Kadambeswara Temple, Karangi Mosque, Kumudvati River and Masjid-E-Raza.
