This historical temple is 5 km south of Padubadri. Though the main deity is Shri Mahalingeshwara, Ishtasiddhi Maha Ganapathi is the main attraction of this temple as he satisfies the desires of his devotees. The main deity was installed by Bhrugu Maharshi. It is believed that the image of Ganapati belongs to the 11th century AD and the bronze utsava-murthy (idol) used for temple events is 1000 years old. Lord Ganapati is adorned with silver kavacha. The sanctum is protected with silver coating. All sections of the temple are characterised by intricate carvings.
