Manjra River




Manjra River originates in the Balaghat range of hills, at an altitude of 822 m above the sea level. This river is a principal tributary of river Godavari. Tirina, Karanja, Haldi, Lendi and Mannar are its main tributaries. Manjra River has a partial catchment area of 11,900 sq m in the state of Karnataka. The river which is a prime source of irrigation in Karnataka has a total length of 725 km. Manjra River is the main river of Bidar District.
