Port of Kundapur is located at the confluence of five rivers forming the Gangolli River at

It lies at the latitude 13 degree 37' N and longitude 74 degree 40' E, on the west coast of India. Besides using it as a fishing harbor, the port is also used to export manganese and iron ore.
This is an intermediate port with the facilities for bigger vessels. Other facilities include stacking platform cum jetty, wharf, cargo weighing shed and transit shed.
