Chelur

Chelur is located in the north-eastern part of Kolar District in Karnataka. It lies near the district’s border with Andhra Pradesh. Kolar, the district headquarters, is around 75 km south of Chelur.

Mulacalacheruvu Railway Station, on Dharmavaram-Madanapalle rail route, is the nearest railhead. Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport.
