Chandralamba Temple




Chandralamba Temple, situated at the bend of the river Bhima in Sannathi, is around 60 km from Gulbarga. Built in the 11th century, this circular shrine is dedicated to a rupa (form) of the goddess (Devi). It also houses an Ashokan slab of the third century BC which was used as a pedestal for the image of the goddess. A large number of devotees visit this temple during the months of March and April.
