Ulsoor Lake lies north-west of
Ulsoor, close to the M G Road, in Bangalore.
Spread over an area of about 1 sq km, this splendid lake is dotted with scenic tiny islands. A small garden known as Kensington Park lies to the north-east of the lake and a swimming pool adjoins the park. Boating facilities are available. This lake is a center of attraction during Ganesh Chaturthi in August-September.
It is opened from 09:00 to 18:00 hrs and closed on Wednesdays.
