Tharhi is a small settlement in Deoghar District of Jharkhand. Karon and Sarath, taluk headquarters towns, are within a short distance from here.
The Tilpara Barrage and Maluti are the major tourist destinations in the neighboring Dumka district, accessible from here. Asanbani, a scenic picnic spot, is also an ideal destination. Prominent places in the neighborhood include Parsiya, Basha, Banskupi and Pathraul.
