Rijubalika Jain Temple




Located near Barakar village on the banks of the Barakar, Rijubalika Jain Temple holds the foot idol of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami as the principal deity. The foot idol nearly six inches tall is white in color. Bhagwan Mahavir Swami attained omniscience in this place. The Barakar river is said to be the Rijubalika river of the ancient period.

The nearest railway station of Giridih is at a distance of 12 km and Madhuvan at a distance of 18 kilometers.
