Chauparan

Chauparan is a township in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand on National Highway 2. This city was once the revered site of Lord Buddha's ministry and had a Prakrit name, Chhau-Paran. Tilaiya Dam is a nearby attraction. Danua, Dumri Chatti, Nawadih, Barhi, Gujhandi, Itkhori, Karma and Mahesa are nearby cities. Ranchi Airport is the nearest airport.
