Nandan Pahar is a picturesque village located in the western side of
Deoghar. This hilly area is an ideal destination for watching sunrise and sunset. There are numerous temples having the idols of Lord
Shiva,
Ganesh and Goddess
Parvati. According to myth, king
Ravana tried to enter this place forcibly where
Nandi was the door keeper.
An entertainment park with facilities for swinging and boating is the main attraction. Baba Baidyanath Temple is the nearby pilgrim spot.
Baidyanath Dham Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
