Chandrakoopa is a historic well located near the main entrance of the famous Baba Baidyanath Temple, in
Deoghar District,
Jharkhand.
It is believed that the well was built and consecrated with water from several theerthams (holy waters) by Ravana. The well was later reconstructed by Chandrajpani Ojha.
Nandan Hills, Naulakha Mandir and Tapovan are other places worth visiting in the vicinity.
Baidyanathdham Railway Station is the nearest railhead. The place can be easily accessed from the Deoghar Bus Station.
