Patan

A taluk headquarters, Patan is located in Palamu District and is about 23 km north-east of Daltonganj.

Patan is surrounded by Nawa in the north-west, Chhatarpur in the north, Manatu in the east and Kundri in the south. Kunda, located around 35 km east in Chatra District, is a nearby scenic spot.

Ranchi, the state capital, is around 160 km south-east. Nearest airport is Ranchi Airport and railhead is Daltonganj Railway Station.
