Basia

Basia is a town in Gumla District of Jharkhand. It is located on Kamdara - Kolebira state highway and is 40 km south-east of Gumla.

Major tourist spots nearby are the Bhaghmunda Waterfalls (3 km) and Ramjari. Palkot Hills and Nagar constitute interesting excursions outside Basia.

Nearest airport is at Ranchi. Bano Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
