Ginjo Thakurgaon

Ginjo Thakurgaon is a small town situated in the northern region of the Ranchi District in Jharkhand. It is about 20 km north-west of Ranchi, the district headquarters. The town is bounded by Mandar, Burmu, Pithauria and Ratu.

Forest Research Center at Mandar and Patratu Thermal Power Station at Patratu are with in a short distance. Other nearby tourist destinations are Kanke Dam, Gonda Hill, Rock Garden, Ranchi Hill, Ranchi Lake and Tagore Hill.

Ranchi Airport is the nearest airport and Ranchi Railway Station is the closest railhead.
