Betla




Betla is the most important tourist place located in Palamu District of Jharkhand. It is 25 km from Daltonganj and 70 km from Latehar.

The place is blanketed with hillocks and dense forests, which starts from Kechki and extended up to Netarhat. Koel and Buhra are the two rivers flowing through this place.

The places to visit here are the Betla National Park and the Palamu Tiger Reserve.

The nearest airport Ranchi Airport. Daltonganj Railway Station is the nearest railhead. By road, Betla can be approached from Ranchi (140 km) as well as from Daltonganj.
