Wontabowan is a small settlement located in the outskirts of Srinagar. Placed in Srinagar District at a height of about 5,160 ft, it is near to Vicharnag.Lal Bazar lies to the south of Wontabowan whereas Shuru is to the north. Gil Sar and Mundibal are other places nearby.
