Tharumsa

Tharumsa is a village located around 160 km from Srinagar – the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies at a height of about 9,770 ft above in Kargil District and is to the south-east of Kargil. Gurung is just one kilometer away.

Zamshung in the west, Chhutumel in the north, Buruqqu in the east and Brokhar in the south encircle Tharumsa.

Tharumsa can be reached on the Ando – Goma route, which leads to Shergol.
