Thanala is a small settlement in Bhaderwah taluk of
Doda District,
Jammu and Kashmir. Positioned at an altitude of about 8,733 ft above sea level, it is eight kilometers away from Bhaderwah. Thanala is surrounded by
Kaplas in the west,
Bhargi in the north, Langera in the east and Sarthal in the south.
Thanala can be reached from Jaura by road. The nearest railhead is at Jammu.
