Shanglo

Set at a height of about 11,899 ft above sea level, Shanglo is a town in Kargil District. It is about 195 km from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

Yaldoda lies to the western part of Shanglo and Hangdangsmin to the eastern side.

Jeeps and private vehicles are available from Barora, Leh and Kargil towards this place. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line.
