Perched at an altitude of about 5,236 ft above sea level, Shahalpur is a small settlement in
Baramulla District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 60 km from
Srinagar, the summer capital of the state. Pazipur in the west, Rawalpur in the north,
Badra Bala in the east and
Batsum in the south are some of the locales around Shahalpur.
Shahalpur can be reached easily from Rishipur as well as from Rowchha.
