Nadpur Sarai is a Mughal sarai located 10 km from
Nowshera in
Rajouri District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Nowshera is about 45 km from
Rajouri.
It was used as minor halting station during Mughal period. Nadpur Sarai has a spacious rectangular courtyard bounded by a walled enclosure with battlement-patterned decoration at the top. The building contains two rows of machicolations.
Nadpur Sarai is entered through imposing gateways on the east and west sides. The facade of the gateway has alcoves at the base and is adorned with recessed panels.
