Muqam Shah Wali is an historical village in
Kupwara District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Located near
Kupwara, the village offers stunning views of the snow capped mountains and low-lying hills.
Founded by Saint Zaiti Shah Wali, an army commander to Ali Shah Chek, the village is highly revered by the Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Zaiti Shah Shrine, numerous springs, tombs and Jamia Masjid are the major landmarks of this place.
