Located southeast of Leh in Ladakh region, Stok is a village in the Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. The main attractions of Stok are Stok Palace and Stok Gompa. Another attraction here is the July Archery Contest. Guru Tsechu is an important festival celebrated here.
Choglamsar is a nearby place of tourist importance. Stok is easily accessible from Leh by road as there are regular bus services. The nearest railway station is at Jammu and the airport is Leh Airport.
