Lalkul Canal




The Lalkul Canal is in Jammu and Kashmir. The canal was constructed by Sultan Zainulabideen, between the Pohru River and Wular Lake. The canal takes its water from the Nullah Pohru River at Bubhama near Kupwara District. It is about 3 km long and irrigates fields in Uttarmachhipora, Kupwara, Drugmul, Sopore and Handwara.
