Lal Chowk

Known earlier as Pratap Chawk, Lal Chowk is a busy locality in the city of Srinagar, in Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the commercial areas in the city.

The first footbridge over the Jhelum, connecting Lal Chowk with the Jawahar Nagar area, lies at this place. Amira Kadal and Pratap Singh Museum are other nearby attractions.

Lal Chowk is accessible from Natipura, by road. The nearest railway station is at Udhampur.
