Siser La is a high mountain pass, perched at an altitude of 5328 m, in northern
Ladakh,
Jammu and Kashmir. The pass, covered with perpetual snow, lies on one of the highest trade routes in the world for Yarkand in Central Asia.
The pass is marked by heaps of stones, which are gathered by the caravans of traders those who are used this route for centuries. The mountains on the side of the Siser La Pass are mostly barren except for a few patches of white snow on the tops.
