Keran Valley is located in
Kupwara District and lies near the Line of Control between India and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok). The sacred river
Kishan Ganga snakes through the valley and the line of control is formed by the river. The valley can be reached by crossing the 8000 ft high pass of Farkyan.
