Imambara Budgam is a holy place for Shiite Muslims of Kashmir. It is situated in the
Badgam District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Built in 1857, it is an octagonal structure featuring five main entrances each of 12 ft width, of which one of the entrances is reserved for women.
Imambara Budgam is a piece of Indo-Iranian architecture and is highly revered among Shia masses.
