Placed at an elevation of 9,393 ft above sea level, Hako is a small village in
Kargil District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Situated on the southern part of the district, the place borders with the
Doda District.
Shazal is 18 km to the west and Chishot is about 3 km east of Hako.
By road, Hako is accessible from Kishtwar and Hawal.
