Gangabug is a small village in Sogam area of
Kupwara District,
Jammu and Kashmir, about 145 km away from
Jammu. To the north of Gangabug is
Tengpur whereas
Gorteng is to the south. This beautiful place is perched at an altitude of about 5,150 ft above sea level.
Gangabug can be easily approached from Bimun, by road. The nearest railway station is at Udhampur.
