Perched at a height of 10,885 ft above sea level, Dundur is a beautiful place in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 5 km from Garkhun and 193 km from the state capital, Srinagar.
Dundur is linked with the surrounding towns such as Shudi in the west, Yaldoda in the north, Dundurlungpa in the east and Shore in the south. It is an ideal place for the trekking enthusiast. Wakha Rgyal, Sankoo, and Mulbekh are some of the attractions outside the town.
